Pregnancy Massage: Myths, Contraindications & Considerations Providing massage therapy during pregnancy doesn't have to be intimidating. Cindy McNeely Bio:
Cindy McNeely, RMT is the owner of Trimesters: Massage Therapy Education and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1985. A respected educator since 1988, she founded Trimesters in 1995 to advance the standard of perinatal massage therapy education across Canada.

Cindy has developed four comprehensive perinatal massage therapy programs covering pregnancy, labour support, infants and children, and complex pregnancies. She has delivered training in eight provinces, taught at massage therapy colleges, conferences, associations, clinics, and spas, and now offers online education, including a comprehensive pregnancy massage course in partnership with Dexterity PD.

In addition to her clinical practice, Cindy is an experienced labour support provider (doula) with extensive expertise in pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, infants, children, and high-risk pregnancies. She also created Canada's first Level III hospital-based prenatal massage therapy program, which operated for more than 25 years at Women's College Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Cindy has appeared on television, published articles in professional journals, contributed to a leading perinatal massage therapy textbook, and collaborated extensively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines. She is recognized nationally as a leader in perinatal massage therapy education.
