Flexibility is so often applauded in our society but what happens when being bendy is more than just ‘flexibility’? - Definitions, diagnosis, prognosis, why they matter
- Assessments- assessing for hEDS and HSD and how hypermobility skews assessments

About the Presenter:
Bobbi-Jo Corbett became registered as an RMT in 2018. During her time in school, she realized a passion for scar tissue and fascia and has made it her mission to learn as much as she can about both. She attended the 2025 Fascia Research Congress and has taken courses in scar tissue, fascia, and hypermobility. Her primary focus is often scar tissue but this has given her an extensive understanding of connective tissue, an asset when working with connective tissue disorders.
She was diagnosed with hEDS in 2024 and has since made it her mission to share her knowledge and empower other bendy people in their health journey. Her personal experience makes her empathetic to others experiencing this complex diagnosis and allows her to be a stronger advocate for the hypermobile population.
