Hamilton CBN Meeting
Our next CBN meeting will be held in person on November 23rd from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1005 Skyview Drive, Burlington, ON. Please use the Southwest entrance. Parking is free. Capacity is limited to 15 RMTs on a first-come, first-served basis.
Topic: RMTs Facing College Complaints
Our guest speaker, Mina Karabit, is a health lawyer. She will be discussing what RMTs can realistically experience during a College complaint and how to protect their reputation. A Q&A session will follow the discussion.
About Mina:
Mina Karabit is a health law lawyer and advocate at Wise Health Law. Her practice is dedicated to assisting health professionals who face civil lawsuits or College complaints—protecting their reputation, ensuring a fair process, and achieving positive outcomes. She has extensive firsthand experience in the healthcare industry as a medical first responder and has also worked in health policy, giving her an in-depth understanding of the frameworks that health professionals must navigate. Mina currently serves as the Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Administrative Law Section.
In appreciation of Mina’s time, she has requested a charitable donation. We are supporting Food4Kids Hamilton, which assists children facing food insecurity. If you're able, please bring one or two boxes of Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal Packets (Quaker brand required for allergen compliance). Thank you for supporting this meaningful cause.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note - This CBN meeting may include hands-on activities. Massage Therapy students should consult with their schools/instructors prior to attending before participating in any hands-on activities.
